Tyler W. Clark is an Economic Development Specialist at HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. He works with the Director of Entrepreneurship Programs to develop and implement strategies to foster campus growth and innovation. Tyler plays a vital role in promoting Alabama’s growing biotechnology industry by supporting resident companies in integrating into HudsonAlpha’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Tyler supports various projects within the economic development mission area, including business retention, entrepreneurship, and business development. He is responsible for planning and executing the Business of Biotech program, supporting new entrepreneurship initiatives, and generating key data reports and campus metrics.
Tyler’s journey with HudsonAlpha began as an intern with the BioTrain Program, where he gained valuable insights into the institute’s operations. He also worked as a consultant with a resident company and was part of the campus facilities staff. In the spring of 2021, Tyler graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a degree in Business Management.
